Trail of Lights Austin Preview
Trail of Lights Austin is back to celebrate its 50th birthday with good people in the area. While each year countless festivals are announced to be spectacular and memorable, we will completely proud to say the Trail of Lights (TOL) tradition is the truly mega event. Not only coming up with its half-centenary party this year, the company still goes with its annual Christmas show exploring the sparkling, multicolored China-made LED bulbs. The whole ritual will be started off on December 6th for the Fun Run. The rest agendas can be enjoyed during December 7th to 21st at Zilker Park.
If you haven’t been into this topic before, we have summed up what exactly this agenda is. Trail of Lights Austin is an annual ritual held by Trail of Lights Foundation to commemorate all good things happening during the year’s winter holiday. It has a characteristic which the party will be filled with light bulbs shown up in attractive luminance and shape combinations. The show is opened with Fun Run, which lets people to enjoy running two miles from the Zilker Tree to the finish line of Trail of Lights main booth. Whilst running, the participants may get a sneak peak of the complete decorations before they are officially published.
Trail of Lights Austin this year is going to expose a very special appearance of Mother Goose. The theatrical display will likely be a musical drama with, of course, dramatic lightings powered by HEB. Abby Sandlin, the forefront of the event’s managing editorial team, proudly claimed that “it is not just a lighting exhibition. There are so many stories to tell, since we are trying to well-balance entertainment and education.” Started from 7 PM to 10 PM, with very affordable ticket pricings started from $32.64, 2014 Trail of Lights is the celebration you have to visit during December’s winter holidays
